This book is as much about Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him, as it is about his grandsons, Hasan and Husayn, may Allah be pleased with them, for truly, they were inseparable. From the moment of their births, grandfather and grandsons delighted in each other's company on a daily basis; he finding rest and relaxation in their company, and they revelling in the unconditional love he lavished upon them. The reader will gain a delightful insight into his special family relationship of a grandfather who dotes on his grandsons, but never neglects to teach and educate them in good manners, right living and a sincere concern for the afterlife. Charming cameos of life in the noble Prophet's family, of the boys riding horseback on their grandfather, being carried by him, playing games together, having family arguments, all contribute to the sense that this is a very normal, human family. The story follows the two brothers into adulthood and pays tribute to the fine young men they become, thanks to the blessed Prophet's tutelage. Outstanding examples of what it means to be a true Muslim (Hasan, leader, preacher, peace-maker, supreme example of morality; Husayn, principled, courageous and self-sacrificing) both brothers die as martyrs for Islam, and find their rewards as Leaders of the Youth in Paradise-to the great delight of their grandfather!
